 Kelly Wentworth and Edward Hsiao recently published in the American Journal of Human Genetics, where they applied single-cell RNA sequencing to human bone samples to study fibrous dysplasia, a genetic mosaic disease that causes severe bone malformations. UCSF is among a small number of centers nationwide with expertise in this condition.
